The 2016 Pinot Noir comes from grapes grown in the very famous Santa Rita Hills Appellation. Moderate heat and coastal fog create excellent growing conditions for Pinot grapes. This complex and difficult grape make production of Pinot Noir reliant on delicate balance of nature's cooperation and the winemaker's patience. Smooth with mild tannins, but rich in berry flavor and color, this balanced wine pairs well with organic poultry, fresh vegetables, wild mushrooms, as well as most charcuterie plates.
